Positive balance in 2019: another year innovating in public transport

The year 2019 ends with a positive balance for the company. Mobility problems are still around, but in recent months, we have seen a great effort from City Hall in interventions that have been improving our daily lives, such as GMF's daily work on Beira Mar Avenue, asphalt recovery or even its expansion. Of course, our biggest problems remain, such as too many cars, lack of priority for the collective, and the difficulty of meeting our scale in the time frame. However, we started the year on the right foot, renewing 16 conventional vehicles between December and February, expanding the range of cars with air renewers, sideways, air suspension and the use of technologies that severely reduce pollutant emissions. Today, the company already has significant numbers in this department. Our fleet already has 57% of vehicles within Euro 5 technology, as well as 44% with air suspension offerings. With accessibility in mind, the proportion of lift cars this year has risen to 80% of the conventional fleet. Internally, our teams maintained the spirit of innovation, with a total of 32 preventive SACP registered in 2019, with planning for process improvements, training and investments. We currently have 106 ongoing actions on various fronts and action plans of our teams. Our maintenance department has applied new maintenance plans, a new, more detailed new methodology that makes our employees and passengers safer. The Safeguard advanced with great speed. As of the close of this infocanas, we have recorded a total of 8,590 hours of visualizations, training and other field applications focusing on the safety of our employees. In all, the company has so far invested a total of 2,919 hours in training and group dynamics. We ended the year by reinforcing our vocation with quality, recertifying ourselves in the external audit of ISO 9001. We entered in 2020 in the pursuit of service quality, customer satisfaction and operational safety, always focusing on our employees and life. 2020 reserves uncertainties, surprises, good things and bad things.
